User Responsibilities & Prohibited Use

Important: You represent and warrant that you own or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any images you upload to the Service. You are solely responsible for any misuse, including but not limited to copyright infringement.

By using screen2code.dev, you agree to:

  • Only upload images that you own or have explicit permission to use
  • Not upload copyrighted material without proper authorization
  • Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service
  • Not use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes

Prohibited Content

You may NOT upload or process:

  • Copyrighted Material: Images, designs, or UI screenshots you do not own or have rights to use
  • Illegal Content: Any content that violates local, state, national, or international law
  • Infringing Content: Material that infringes on patents, trademarks, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights
  • Harmful Content: Malicious, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable material
  • Sensitive Data: Images containing personal information, medical records, or confidential business data of others

Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of generated code
  • That the generated code will be free of errors or suitable for production use
  • That the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free

We are not responsible for any claims arising from:

  • Your use of generated code in any application or system
  • Intellectual property disputes related to your uploaded images
  • Any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service
  • Third-party claims arising from your use of the generated output

You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any generated code before use in production environments.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless screen2code.dev, its operators, affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms of Service
  • Your violation of any rights of another party, including intellectual property rights
  • Any content you upload to the Service
  • Any claim that your uploaded content caused damage to a third party

This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of your use of the Service.

Generated Output & Ownership

You own the generated code. Subject to the rights in your input, you retain ownership of all code generated through your use of the Service.

However, this ownership is subject to the following conditions:

  • Input Rights: Your ownership of generated output is contingent upon your having proper rights to the input images
  • No Warranty: We make no representations that the generated code does not infringe on third-party rights
  • Your Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the generated code complies with all applicable laws
  • License to Us: By uploading images, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process them solely for the purpose of generating code

We do not claim any ownership rights in your uploaded images or the generated code output.

Service Modifications & Termination

  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice
  • We may update these Terms of Service from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance
  • We may terminate or suspend your access for violations of these terms
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction.
